FIND US IN ÅRE

With Åre's most beautiful view, you will find us at the top of Fjällgårdsvägen. The address is Fjällgårdsvägen 35, 837 51 Åre. From Åre Torg you can take the funicular during its opening hours.

FROM ÅRE STATION

If you arrive by train to Station Åre, take a 200 m walk to Åre Torg. At the square you will find Åre Bergbana which takes you all the way up to the hotel. The funicular departs every twenty minutes, full hour, twenty over and twenty to.

If you have a lot of luggage or don’t feel like walking there are taxis at the station waiting for you.

FROM ÅRE ÖSTERSUND AIRPORT

If you fly to Åre Östersund Airport, you can either book your own or a shared taxi to Åre and then take the funicular up to the hotel during its opening hours, or take your own taxi from the village up to the hotel.

We recommend that you use the local taxi companies.

When you get to Åre, it is good to know that Granenbacken, the western driveway to Tottvägen that runs along the funicular, is closed to traffic between December and April. The hill is too steep for winter road conditions, hence the closing. Choose the exit to Tottvägen, which is 1000m to the east, and drive past Tott Hotell and onto Fjällgårdsvägen.

PARKING

As a guest of the hotel, parking is always free. You pick up a free parking ticket from the reception. Please note that we have a limited number of parking spaces directly adjacent to the hotel. If these places are occupied, there are more places along Fjällgårdsvägen. You can always park for 5 minutes outside the hotel entrance while you check in, so you don’t have to carry your bags up the hill.
